The Korean manufacturer launches LG Optimus VU, a smartphone with a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The new model can be used with capacitive Rubberdium pencil. The device weighs 168 grams and measuring 139.6 x 90.4 x 8.5 mm.

Lately there were a lot of discussion about the new generation of Ford Mustang, which will be launched in 2015. But to keep consumers interested, Ford will offer an enhanced version of the model in 2013. This means the Mustang will have some improvements on the outside, but more power. iPhone 5 Concept Design

The iPhone 5 could be the most spectacular smartphone in the world if it would look like this concept design! iMac was also curved once, so I see good logic for going back to that. If we are to believe the iPhone 5 rumors, the phone will have a quad core processor, better camera, new OS, new Retina Display, 128GB of storage.

The concept design of the iPhone 5 is definitely the most amazing and elegant yet appeared, and the apple light on the back made my day.

Unfortunately, this iPhone 5 Concept Design ... is just a concept. Nothing official from Apple regarding the new iPhone 5 phone.

Probabilities are there is a smartphone in your sack right now that features a bolted processor, minimum 512 RAM, and it’s linked to your carrier’s wireless network. The only reason this can never be your only computer is the dimension of the screen. But what happens when you connect it to a large display? Let's not forget that technology has gone a long way since N95, and now now smartphones are able to stream 1080p video signal to HDTVs via HDMI cables.

Google HUD glasses are able to display images on the lenses just as they appear on the monitor, while keeping a degree of transparency that enables the user to view the environment. Google HUD are among the most interesting products we have talked about lately. The latest rumors said that this gadget will start to be sold later this year, at a price of $ 250 - $ 600.

Connected wirelessly (via 3G/4G, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) to a mobile device running Google Maps, Google HUD glasses will help us orient ourselves more easily to various points of interest.

If we are to believe the recent informations regarding this cool gadget, the glasses will be compatible with Android. Images control will be made through vocal commands, but also by head movement.

Google officials did not comment on the project status or onb the date when the glasses will be released.

Samsung Galaxy Note, LG Optimus VU or Lenovo LePad S2005?

Lately, I see the rise of a distinct type of cell phones: hybrid smartphones. These "tablet-phones" can be called "tabletphones" or even "phablets". They have a display of 5 inches minimum and are an intermediate model between smartphones and 7 inches tablets. The first such device was Dell Streak hybrid with 5-inch display, known as the "Dell Mini 5".

The most popular tablet-phone model is the Galaxy Note (I9220), launched last fall with a 5.3 inch display and dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 with a frequency of 1.4 GHz. Samsung has launched a 4G version: Galaxy Note LTE (I717) with the same characteristics, but with 1.5-GHz dual-core Scorpion processor.

Lenovo also launched a tablet-phone late last year, LePad S2005, a smartphone with 5-inch display, for China market.

The latest hybrid phone is Optimus VU. It was announced yesterday by Koreans from LG. Optimus VU, is equipped with 1.5-GHz Scorpion dual core processor and feature a memory of 32 GB. The smartphone will be presented at the LG stand (Hall 8) at Mobile World Congress - held in Barcelona between February 27 and March 1, 2012. LG Optimus VU will be available starting with March 2012, first in South Korea.

Microsoft prepares a new version of its wide-known Operating System, and a new image. Windows logo has evolved from the first version that ran under MS DOS operating system (Windows 1, 3.1) to Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. The popular Windows logo will change with the new Windows interface 8.

"We wanted the logo to be both classic and modern," said Sam Moreau, a Director of Microsoft. "By using bold colors, clean lines and shapes, the new logo has characteristics found in airports and subway stations" said Moreau.

Windows 8 logo was created by three designers: Paula Scher, Michael Beirut and Daniel Weil of Pentagram. Pentagram agency is known for design companies like Nokia, Reuters, Toshiba, Nissan, Polaroid, Bloomberg, Amazon Kindle, Rolls-Royce, Norton Antivirus, The New York Times Magazine and TDK.

This new Operating System comes with many surprises for tablet owners, if we are to believe the latest information.

Android 5.0 Jelly Bean will launch in June 2012, writes digitimes.com, citing manufacturers in Taiwan. If we are to believe the information, it follows that Andoid 5.0 would come on the market early enough because his predecessor, Ice Cream Sandwich, reached only 1% of Android devices.

The Jelly Bean official launch is around the same time we should see the new Windows 8.

Android 5.0 is said to bring surprises like dual-boot function, and the word is that Google could be pushing Android fragmentation to higher levels with Android 5.0 Jelly Bean.

A complete video collection with movies depicting various life moments of Steve Jobs is now available to everyone. Video sharing site Chill made this series. Basically, it came with a solution to put together several clips that have the same theme: Steve Jobs (click the image for the gallery)

Thus was formed the most comprehensive video collection with Steve Jobs. It was made with the help of a Chill founder, Scott Hurff. The videos are presented in a gallery including his speech at Stanford University.

This could be Apple's coolest invention of 2012: iWatch2 - the futuristic watch that allows you to watch movies and enjoy Facebook!

Antonio De Rosa is a talented designer, and this is not his first nor his last concept design. iWatch2 follows Apple general design of glam and curves. iWathc2 is a concept watch with 32GB memory, WiFi and Bluetooth that allows you to connect to iPad / iPhone.

A technology blog published recentlty two photographs of a concept tablet that illustrates a design inspired by the latest models launched by the Finnish manufacturer: Nokia Lumia 900, 800 and Nokia N9. The tablet has 9.7 inch display and it's called called "Lumia COFFEE TAB".

PhoneArena presented a list of features of this Nokia tablet:

- Windows 8 (tablet version)

- 9.7 inch AMOLED ClearBlack display resolution 1280 x 800 pixels

- Processor with a frequency of 1.4 GHz

- 512 MB RAM

- Three versions of ROM memory: 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB

- 8 MP Back Camera

- Front camera with a resolution of 2 MP

- Wi-Fi and 3G

Remember this is a concept design, so we won't expect this in the near future.

Porsche Cayenne was a real success, so I guess it was the time for Lamborghini to jump on sport-utility bandwagon. There are not many available details on Lamborghini SUV but I'm sure we can expect lots of lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum. Folks say this is the first family-friendly Lamborghini.

According to Italian journalists, we will first see the Lamborghini SUV as a concept, not in spring at Geneva Motor Show 2012 , but a little later in China at Beijing Auto Show 2012. The series would be launched at the end of 2014, with few aesthetic changes to the original concept.

Compared to Cayenne, the Lamborghini SUV will be more sporty, under the hood is fitted the V12 engine them Aventador with an output of 700 hp, V10 engine options as the Gallardo or Audi R8 or even a turbocharged 500 hp V8, derived from the Audi S8. It is likely that Lamborghini SUV to feature hybrid propulsion, while sophisticated four-wheel drive is standard on all versions.
